Dimapur, February 18 (MExN):
RMSA Dy. Project Director Ayie Yhome in a press release has informed that all the State Office of Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan (RMSA) Nagaland is located at the Old Secretariat building, earlier occupied by the Nagaland University opposite to Congress Bhavan below Commissioner Office. Henceforth, all correspondence/Communication for RMSA should be addressed as; Rashtriya madhyamik shiksha abhiyan, Department of school education, Nagaland Kohima Old Secretariat building, ground floor, Opp: Congress Bhavan below Commissioner Office.

DDGWTU annual picnic postponed

Dimapur, February 18 (MExN):
The Dimapur District Garage Welfare Trade Union (DDGWTU) has informed that the annual picnic to be held on February 19 has been postponed to March 19 due to some unavoidable circumstances. The Union general secretary Piketo Zhimo in a press note has requested its members to reach the office at 8:00 am on March 19 for the annual picnic.

PDRA meet on February 21

Dimapur, February 18 (MExN):
All the members of Peren District Referees’ Association (PDRA) are informed that there will be a general meeting at Peren Town on February 21, 2011 at 10:00 am to deliberate matters on the welfare of the association. Therefore, all concern are herby requested to attend the meeting positively. This was informed in a press note issued by Ernest Sephe, president, PDRA.

UNB colony inauguration on Feb 21

Dimapur, February 18 (MExN):
The United North Block (UNB) Naga Colony, Burma Camp in Dimapur will be inaugurated by Dr. Shürhozelie Liezietsu, Minister for higher education & urban development as the chief guest on February 21. The inauguration programme will be held at Zasivikho Zakiesato compound at 10:30 am. Therefore, the colony secretary in a press release has requested all concerned are invited to grace the inauguration programme.

UBCA NEI meeting on February 19

Dimapur, February 18 (MExN):
The United Baptist Churches Association North East India (UBCA NEI) has convened an emergency meeting on February 19 at 9:00 am at the UBC Balijan near LRC Dimapur. All the UBCA officials are informed that all the UBCA Officials that some important points to be discussed.  Therefore, all the UBCA officials are requested to attend the said meeting positively. This was informed in a meeting notice issued by Rev. L Hevuto Awomi.

DC Wokha notifies on Census

Wokha, February 18 (DIPR):
Deputy Commissioner Wokha Rovilatuo Mor has directed all heads of department employees to register/enumerate their names in their respective place of posting during the phase-II Census operation 2011. The order further stated that failure to comply with this order will be viewed strictly and stern action according to the Census Act, 1948 and Census Rules, 1990 and the relevant provision of service rules shall be taken against the erring individuals.

KBPF home visitation on Feb 19

Kohima February 18 (MExN):
The Kohima Baptist pastor fellowship (KBPF), organizes a home visitation at new secretariat Baptist fellowship members on February 19 at 7.00 am. The president in a press release has requested all the senior pastor, pastor, and associate pastor to make possible for the visitation in order to strengthen believers faith.
 
Help Desk for Census operational

Mokokchung, February 18 (DIPR):
Help Desk for Phase-11 Census operations for Mokokchung district will be operational from February 18 in the office of the Deputy Commissioner and Principal Census Officer, Mokokchung (Census Branch).  Deputy Commissioner, Lithrongla G. Chishi, in a circular informed all Enumerators/supervisors/charge Officer and public of Mokokchung district to take note of it. National Science Day on Feb 28

Kohima, February 18 (MExN):
In commemoration of the National Science Day 2011, a one day science seminar is being organized for all secondary schools (both government and private) of Kohima town on February 28 at LCS building, near Ao church Kohima at 10:00 AM. The seminar is sponsored by the department of science & technology on the theme “Chemistry in our lives.” The concerned schools have been cordially invited to attend the seminar by deputing at least four students along with a guide.
Interested school may make confirmation of their participation with the organizer (Ph. No. 8014876824/9436814444) on or before February 26.
