Census meeting in Dimapur
Dimapur, February 21 (MExN): The CEO, DMC & Charge Officer Census Nikhase Sema has informed of a joint meeting will all supervisors, master trainers and nodal officers for Census 2011, Dimapur Area on February 24 at 11:00 am in the Conference hall of DC Dimapur office for some important discussion. The CEO in a notification has requested all to attend the meeting in time without fail.
CMO Phek informs
Phek, February 21 (DIPR): The Chief Medical Officer, Phek has informed to all state government employees under Phek district that there will be a medical board for confirmation, permanency, invalidation, pension etc on February 24 from 10 a.m. at the Chief Medical Officer’s office. Therefore all heads of offices under Phek district are to inform the deserving employees to attend the board.
NCP Zeme area meet
Dimapur, February 21 (MExN): Nationalist Congress Party of Northern Zeme area has been convened on February 23 at Hangtakreu, near Sainik School, Punglwa, at 11 a.m. Lungsi Haikube, NCP vice president of 7 A/C Peren, informed that State NCP party president Neiba Ndang will address the meeting. All concerned members are asked to attend the meeting positively.
SKK elects new team
Dimapur, February 21 (MExN): The All Sumi Students’ Union (SKK) has elected new team of executive for the tenure 2011 – 2013 on February 18 at Zunheboto. A press note informed that the team will have Nihoi Kinni as President, Boketo Kiho-Vice President, Shikavi Achumi - General Secretary, Holuvi Chophy - Assistant General Secretary, Gideon Chishi - Finance Secretary, John Kinni - Secretary Public Relation, Kiyekha - cultural Secretary, Hetolu Yeptho - SKK Representative to NSF, Himato Yeptho - Speaker and Bito Yeptho - Dy. Speaker.
VBS prog from June 7 to 19
Dimapur, February 21 (MExN): All churches of NEI are informed that the VBS Christian education teachers/leadership training programme will be held from June 7 to 19 instead of March 2011 at Dimapur Life Spring Corner. VBS Director H. Hammei Bubhemhu in a press release has requested churches to send their child, Sunday school teachers, supervisors, secretary, promoter, youth director, leaders, pastors, associate pastor, interested person with full sponsorship for fooding and lodging for two weeks. The trainees who would like to attend are also requested to submit the application form by April last, 2011.
ZPO consultative meet
Kohima February 21 (MExN): A consultative cum executive meet of the Zeliang people organization (ZPO) will be held on February 25 at crown hotel near town hall, Dimapur at 11.00 am. The meet is being hosted by L.Meru, Ex MLA and advisor, to discuss and review executive resolutions of November 17 2010, and other related issues concerning the welfare of the community, stated N.Azu Newmai, president ZPO in a press note. It has also extended a special invitation to A.K Lungalang, R.K Wiza, Kevipelie Ihelung and Hungambo Chawang and also requested the Zeliang legislators, both sitting an formers, VCC and head GB of Mhai- Dungki, Jalukie old, president Zeme and Liangmai councils and frontal organizations- ZOA, ZSU, ZWO, YF, ZPO (Dimapur), ZSU (Dimapur), (two delegates each) to attend the meeting without fail.
