Reserved seat at NERIST
Kohima, February 22 (MExN): North Eastern Regional Institute of Science & Technology (NERIST ) Arunachal Pradesh, has reserved 1(one) Seat for 3 (three) years Degree Module either in Computer Science/Agriculture Engineering for in-service candidate for nominees of Nagaland for the year 2011-12. Only those candidates already in Government service and who have secured 60% or more marks in aggregate percentage in 3 years Diploma level in the relevant stream from an Institute which is approved by AICTE, are eligible. The candidate should not be more than 40 years (45 years incase of ST and PH and 43 years in case of OBC and women) as on August 1, 2011. Interested in-service candidate can apply for the Module through proper channel so as to reach the undersigned latest by March 18, 2011. Relevant Educational documents must be submitted along with the application. No application shall be entertained after March 18, 2011. This was informed in a notification issued by A. Kathipri, Additional Director & HOD.
KVC notifies
Dimapur, February 22 (MExN): The Kashiram Village Council (KVC) has resolved to issue a notice to the concerned general public that whoever has been damaging the sign board under NGREGAS erected within the village is warned and if caught red handed will be dealt with seriously. The KVC secretary Jambemo Odyuo in a press release stated that the culprit will be handed over to the council and a fine of ` 5000 will be imposed on them. Also, as per the government notification, KVC held its general meeting on February 14 at its council hall and elected a new team of office bearers for tenure of 2011-2016. T. S Meren is elected as Chairman, Jambemo Odyuo secretary, with 15 other village council members.
Lok-Adalat on February 25
Dimapur, February 22 (MExN): The Nagaland State Legal Services Authority, Kohima has informed that on February 25 a Lok-Adalat will be held at the Court premises of District & Session Judge, Kohima for settlement of cases. The Members Secretary in a press release has requested all bank loan defaulters, whose cases are pending in Kohima Courts to attend the Lok Adalat and settle their case mutually free of cost.
