Aid for pvt & theological colleges
Dimapur, April 3 (MExN): The Directorate of Higher Education has informed in a press note that the grand-in-aid for private and theological colleges will be released within April 4 to 15, 2011. Government recognized colleges who have applied are informed to collect the grant during the given period.
Asukhuto town land donors meeting
Dimapur, April 3 (MExN): Land Donors Union Asukhuto Town has convened an executive members meeting on April 6, 2011 at the residence of G Vihoto Kiba at 9:00 am at Asukhuto town. The meeting has been called to discuss land compensation issue, Chairman V Khetovi Chishi informed in a press release. All the members are directed to attend the meeting positively.
GB Union informs
Dimapur, April 3 (MExN): It is informed that S.K Oil, which the government is giving to the GB Union for distribution, within the municipal Area, will not be given to colonies whose GB are not registered members of the Union and also to those villages who enjoy rural facilities from April, 2011. This was informed in a press note issued by Yeheto Zhimomi, general secretary, GB Union, Dimapur.
NCRCC informs
Dimapur, April 3 (MExN): Nagaland Christian Revival Church Council (NCRCC) Churches and believers are informed that Thanksgiving Sunday will be observed on April 10, 2011. Also a leaders meeting at Prayer Centre, Riiveba, Chumukedima, Dimapur will be held on April 12, 2011 at 10:00 am and all tribal councils and department representatives are requested to attend positively. A press note issued by Rev. Dr. N. Paphino president NCRC, and Rev. Bulechii Koza, Treasure NCRC informed that 2011 is the year of prayer and thanksgiving. Also, NCRC Golden Jubilee will be held from January 9 to 15, 2012 and NCRC Ministerial Conference from May 10 to 12, 2011 at Prayer Centre for all ordained Ministers, Pastors, Evangelist, License holders, Prayer Warriors, Tribal Council Office bearers and Department leaders.
NLFSA general convention
Kohima, April 3 (MExN): The Nagaland Leprosy Field Staff Association (NLFSA) will hold its general convention -cum- annual session on April 14 at 11:00 am at the Directorate of Health & Family Welfare Conference Hall, Kohima. All the executives, district unit office bearers, district representatives and members of the NLFSA have been requested to attend the meeting positively. Those district units who have not yet submit their annual membership fees have been directed to clear the same during the said meeting. Travelling expenses including lodging/fooding have to be borne by the members themselves or from each district unit funds.
KLRSU general conference
Dimapur, April 3 (MExN): The 33rd General Conference of Kyong Lower Range Students’ Union (KLRSU) will be held on April 5 to 6, 2011 at Don Bosco auditorium hall under the theme: “Envisaging together”. The conference will be graced by former NSF president as the chief guest Achumbemo Kikon, executive engineer of Power Department Wonimo Odyou, as guest of honour and Director of AES NEI Rev. Kaifa Ezung as the theme speaker respectively.
PUK Silver Jubilee celebration
Dimapur, April 3 (MExN): The Phom Union Kohima (PUK), the apex civil organization of Phom community of Kohima Town will be celebrating its Silver Jubilee on April 6, 2011 at Naga Heritage Village, Kisama with Imkong L. Imchen, Home Minister, Nagaland as chief guest. A press note issued by P. Shanthong, Secretary, Jubilee Planning Committee informed that there will be presentation of glittering cultural items, choral songs, speeches from government dignitaries, civil society, Jubilee feast, etc. The Jubilee Planning committee also invites all the PUK pioneers, former office bearers, members, well-wishers, in-laws of Phoms to the momentous occasion. Transportation will be available in all the main junctions of Kohima town to enable the concerned members attend the program. PUK planning committee in the note has also requested all the concerned members to kindly avail casual leave on the day and further requested the heads of institution of both government and private to grant the same to all the members residing in Kohima municipal area for participating in the celebrations. Meanwhile, Silver Jubilee Planning Committee has convened a meeting on April 2 at 12.00 noon at the Official Residence of P. Dako Phom, Parliamentary Secretary, TPT, Ministers Hill. All the concern members including sub-committees are requested to attend the meeting with their assignment progress report without fail.
