Sumi Hoho session today

Kohima, April 27 (MExN):
The Sumi Hoho Nagaland elected executive committee members will be holding its first session on April 28 at Sumi Hoho Conference Hall Zunheboto at 9:00 Am. The one day session shall be two sessions relating to Hoho welfare and policy of the organization.

AASU condemns assault on student

Dimapur, April 27 (MExN):
The Aghunaqa Area Students Union (AASU) vehemently condemns the abduction and physical assault of Nitoyi Awomi, S/o Akhevi Awomi, a permanent resident of Nitozu Village under Aghunaqa Area and a student of Public College of Commerce B.Com first year, by the youth of Imkonglenden Colony on April 22 at Half Nagarjan, Dimapur on mere suspicion of stealing a mobile phone. A press note issued by AASU president, K. Hukato Kiba therefore, urges the law enforcing authorities to identify the culprits and befit them with punishment. Failing which AASU will seek its own course of action.

ANPDMRBAA meet postponed

Kohima, April 27 (MExN):
The general meeting of All Nagaland Power Department Meter Readers and Bill Assistants Association has been postponed to May 25 due to some unavoidable circumstances. All concerned have been requested to bear with this and attend the meeting positively.

Posts of DBs vacant in Phek

Phek, April 27 (DIPR):
The Deputy Commissioner’s Office Phek has invited application from indigenous inhabitants of Phek district for 9 posts of DBs under Phek district for Razieba, Phor and Phek Headquarter Circle. The applicants must have thorough knowledge of customary law and should be conversant in local language and Nagamese. The applicants are further requested to submit the application latest by May 6. This was issued by EAC Sadar Phek, Andrew C. Imti on April 21.
