
Dimapur, October 16 (MExN): The Tenant and Business Welfare Association of Super Market has expressed deep disturbance and condemned the recent burning of a bus in the area, as a “senseless act of vandalism.”
In a statement, the association stated that the incident not only caused damage to property but also poses a threat to the safety and security of our residents and business owners.
“We strongly condemn this act of violence and urge the authorities to take immediate action to identify the perpetrators and bring them to justice,” said Pukhaho Yepthomi, President of the association.
The association emphasised that the residents and business owners of Super Market are law-abiding citizens who deserve a safe and peaceful environment.
It further, appealed to the local administration to increase security measures in the area to prevent such incidents in the future. The association also called upon the public to help maintain peace and harmony in the community.
The Association affirmed its solidarity with the bus owners and operators who incurred losses due to the incident.
