LONGLENG, DECEMBER 6 (MExN): The Longleng District Planning & Development Board meeting was held under the Chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Dharam Raj on December 6 at DPDB hall, Longleng.
The meeting began with welcome address by the Deputy Commissioner followed by self introduction by the new members and review of last meeting minutes.
In his address, the DC apprised the members for successfully concluding the 2nd Inter- departmental tournament 2022 organised by the Officer's Club in the district. Lauding the members for their cooperation and support, the DC said the tournament was a grand success because of the contribution and active participation of the officers and members.
After a brief discussion, the board forwarded certain agendas to the concerned department for approval and necessary action.
Proposal for renovation of DUDA guest house at the estimate cost of Rs 15 lakhs was recommended and forwarded to Director DUDA. In regards to registration of Kiyong Kivong-Kiveli Welfare Society, the case was forwarded to the concerned department after it was found to be genuine and verified by the district administration.
For strict implementation of LADP schemes 2022-23, the DC informed that a committee headed by ADC Tamlu and DC Longleng will be constituted for implementing LADP projects under 49 A/C Tamlu and 50 A/C Longleng respectively.
Later, the Medical Department presented their activities under the establishment of CMO and District Hospital, Longleng. Dr Temsu, District Surveillance Officer, Longleng presented the activities under the establishment of CMO Longleng and Dr Khyouthungo Yanthan, Jr. Specialist presented the activities of the District Hospital, Longleng and the requirements needed by the department. The next departmental activities will be presented by the Forest department.
The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks by the chairman.
