Longleng, July 9 (MExN): A dissemination programme on the HIV and AIDS (Prevention and Control) Act, 2017 was held at the Chief Medical Officer's Conference Hall in Longleng on July 8 to raise awareness on HIV prevention, legal rights and protection against discrimination.
The programme was organised by DISHA Longleng with support from the Nagaland State AIDS Control Society (NSACS).
It aimed to sensitise civil society leaders and student and youth leaders on the provisions of the HIV and AIDS (Prevention and Control) Act, 2017, while promoting greater understanding of HIV prevention, control and the legal rights and safeguards guaranteed under the legislation.
