Longleng: Medical health camp to commemorate 8 years of BJP govt

Longleng, June 10 (MExN): A medical health camp was organised on June 10 by the BJP Party Longleng District in collaboration with Chief Medical Officer and the Medical Superintendent at the District Hospital Longleng in commemoration of 8 years of BJP government in India.

As per a press release, a short formal programme was conducted at the hospital venue which was led by Dr Phillip Kent, Dy CMO followed by a speech from Chingmei, EAC Longleng, wherein she thanked the party for their generous action and expressed her gratitude to the CMO and MS for helping out in working for the welfare of the people.

This was followed by a speech from B Ajoy Phom, president BJP Longleng district, who highlighted the works that had been done by the BJP government in its eight years of governance starting from Ayushman Bharat for free treatment, Made in India initiative, Jal Jeevan Mission through which water were reached out to the different corners of the country and PMGKY scheme.

It was followed by the inaugural of the Medical Health Camp by the Longleng EAC.

Among others, patients were provided with all treatment facilities like ENT, surgery orthopaedic, Gynecology and TB, Malaria and ICTC (Integrated Counselling and Testing Centre), the release stated, adding that focused group discussions were also conducted by the District Community Mobiliser Henmai, IEC Staff. 

Various leaflets about Tuberculosis, Malaria, HIV and sexually transmitted diseases were also distributed among the patients.
