Longleng: Training for youth in construction sector held

Longleng, June 20 (MExN): A week long Demand Driven Skill Development programme for the youth of Nagaland in the construction sector 2022-23 was organised by Department of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship in partnership with Zynorique Initiative Society at Tamlu sub-division, Longleng on June 20 and will culminate on June 26.

The objective of the training is to help the youth increase their proficiency, grow skill sets, achieve tasks in less time with more results and increase performance. It also aims to provide more employability in the construction sector, stated a DIPR report. The Inaugural program was chaired by T Imlisunep Ao, Principal, Government ITI, Mokokchung while short speeches were proposed by Student President & Village Council Chairman of Tamlu and Amachong villages. They welcomed and lauded the department concerned and the Zynorique Initiative Society for organizing the programme, which will provide employment opportunity for the unemployed youths. The overall programme introduction was highlighted by Richard Belho, Chairman of Zynorique Initiative Society followed by a dedicatory prayer by Associate Pastor, Women Tamlu Village. 5O participants will be learning skills on plumbing, tiling and masonry works.
