The Losami Community building was inaugurated today by Neposo Theluo, Commissioner & Secretary for Rural Development, Nagaland.
This Losami Community building located at Ledepfü, Losami village under Phek district was constricted under MGNREGA.
Addressing the inaugural ceremony, Neposo Theluo urged the villagers to actively engage in the farming activities to boost the rural economy. He also urged the gathering to settle in village rather than in town and cities as many infrastructural developments have been made available in the rural areas.
Further, Theluo called upon the village leaders to propagate the message to the villagers on the need to become self reliant, adding one should not fully depend on the government for survival.
Phek Deputy Commissioner, Razouvolie Dozo and Phek DRDA Project Director Keyirangding Hegui also spoke on the occasion.
Earlier, the function was presided over by Losami VDB secretary Wepete Mekrisuh while Losami Village Council chairman Keziiwelo Akami delivered welcome address.
