2. Earrings made entirely of wood for the style sirens of Nagaland.
3. Even the catapults at Hornbill Festival were far from the ordinary, wearing a very, very bohemian look.
4. G.I Joe and his friends from the Hills, carved in wood.
5. Also on sale were Ghost Rider bikes made of wood.
6. Also SPOTTED were interesting wooden vases to keep the variety of fresh flowers found in Nagaland.
7. Lovely bird hangings made of bamboo were also on sale at one of the stalls.
8. And finally lazy-boy chairs to rest those tired legs after a hard day at Kisama!

Bamboo Pavilion at Kisama was seen flooded with art and artifacts made by the countless artisans from all over Nagaland, during the recently concluded annual Hornbill Festival 2011. These artisans are mostly self taught creative learners and hitherto unrecognized. Here’s some of the art and artifacts displayed at Hornbill Festival that tourists and locals got to admire, buy and treasure. (Akangchila Longchar/Morung Photos)
