Kohima, NOVEMBER 4 (MExN): Land Resources Department (LRD) Deputy Director Panjung conducted a three day tour program to Longleng from October 27 to 29. Stating that his visit to the district was not the first time because he was looking after Longleng when he then DPO for IWDP, Pangjung recalled his past experience with the people of Longleng and observed that there atleast a slight economic change because of their hard working the farmer are harvesting the fruits which were given during his time.
He also said that IWMP is more friendly to the farmer as compare to that of IWDP because under this project every inched of the land under the project will be implemented, adding that the villagers will be the really beneficiaries. During his visit, he interacted with the villagers.
