Dimapur, February 15 (MExN): Following the order on ban of ghutka sale issued last week, the UT-1 of NSCN (IM) destroyed a mammoth consignment of gutkas which were seized from Dimapur town. Deputy Kilonser cum caretaker UT-1 Kihoto Yepthomi and other UT-1 staff members were present at the site.
The Deputy kilonser cum caretaker of UT-1 informed press personnel that the order on ban of gutkas were issued from the higher ups, based on request from NGOs and Churches. He also further stated that scrutiny on anti-social activities will be carried out by the organizations within the coming days, actively. UT-1 officials also cautions all shopkeepers and traders from further selling of gutkhas.
