Tuensang, September 23 (MExN): The Nagaland State Legal service Authority (NSLSA) and Tuensang District Legal Service Authority (TDLSA) organized a consultative meeting with the District Administration, Government Departments, Stakeholders and NGOs at Deputy Commissioner’s Conference Hall on September 21.
A press release stated that Victo Sema, Principal, District & Sessions Judge & Chairman TDLSA delivered keynote address and highlighted on Mega Legal Service Camp scheduled for September 29 at local ground. He said that the camp was especially for the poor and downtrodden people of Tuensang and further mentioned that the concept of the camp is to enable the concerned department to better serve the people seeking help.
Limasenla Longkumer, Project coordinator NSLSA deliberated on the various activities of legal services under the aegis of NSLSA. She also spoke on the scheme of the department and appraised that PLVs from different villages will identify the real beneficiaries who are in need of help by adding that the “main purpose of the camp is for the building and construction workers where the Labour Departnent headed by the project officer is doing an efficient job for this camp to give real time service towards the beneficiaries.” Longkumer informed of a pre-camp at Noklak and Shamator.
