Dimapur, September 26 (MExN): The Village Development Board, Meriyan Village Council, Wokha district being the only farm based village in Nagaland, has informed that the village council had established a tent house near Nzhu Bridge with utensils, plates, cups & other essential articles for picnic goers at Nhzu River with nominal fee for hire.
A press note issued by Z.Yambemo Tsanglao, VDB, MVC, inform to all picnic goers to kindly avail the facility on the spot, lightening your burden of taking the trouble in transporting your picnic kits from Wokha town and help the village council in its fund drive venture and endeavor to keep our vital environment healthy around the mesmerizing Nzhu River free from pollutants.
The council also would like to request the general public to use (as far as possible) environmental friendly items whenever they decide to venture out for picnic in the river without creating any havoc to the environment. The council would be looking forward for public advice & co-operation as well as from the Government Agencies for making the Nzhu Valley and the River a reveler for tourist destination in the near future.
