Shamator, August 10 (MExN): Metümnyo festival was celebrated at Shamator on August 8 with Advisor, Youth Resources & Sports, S. Keoshu Yimkhiung, as special guest.
The Advisor spoke on the traditional values and importance of the festival, encouraging the gathering to uphold values such as truth, simplicity, and respect for elders. He extended greetings and wished the people a prosperous season ahead.
The significance of Metümnyo was delivered by Shophu Khopong. Short speeches were given by DC Shamator Chubatemjen, ENSF President Nuheymong, and YTC Vice President H Hanji. A special number was presented by Thrunso, and the vote of thanks was delivered by 11 Wards President, Yansomong.
