Govt drivers refresher course
Kohima, November 16 (MExN): A two day all Nagaland government drivers’ refresher course will take place at NST DTI Tenyiphe III from November 17 to 18. C.M. Tsanglao, secretary, transport will be the chief guest. A team of all Nagaland government drivers association consisting of 30 members belonging from head department will be attending this refresher course.
AND&BG prayer fellowship
Kohima, November 16 (MExN): The All Nagaland Driver’s & Bodyguards Prayer Fellowship Kohima will take place on November 20 at 7:00 AM at Yimchungrü Baptist Church, Kohima. Yanbothung Lotha will be the speaker while L. Kapfo will lead the service. There will be a general meeting right after the service. The next fasting and prayer service will be held on January 2012.
ANTA annual picnic on Nov 18
Kohima, November 16 (MExN): The annual picnic of All Nagaland Taxi Association will be held on November 18 at Western Angami Public Organization ground Zubza. In this connection, all the taxi owners and drivers of the Union have been requested to reach the spot by 9:00 AM positively. No taxi will be allowed to ply on this day, a release received here said adding that defaulters will be fined Rs. 2000 from the spot. The Union regretted the inconvenience cause to the public.
CEC meeting on Nov 22
DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 16 (MExN): In exercise of the powers discuss on vide Article V, Clause 3 and 10 of the Party Constitution, Traditional CEC meeting will be held on November 22 at 3:00 P.M at Ruleizuo near I.G. Stadium, Kohima. All the CEC respective members are requested to attend the meeting without any fail. This was informed in a notice issued by Dr. Shurhozelie Liezietsu, President NPF Nagaland, Central H.Q.
Excise seizes liquor
Kohima, November 16 (MExN): The excise duty at the check gate under command of Akum Ao A.I.E seized 150 bottles of 750 ML rum, 24 bottles of 750 ML whisky, 12 bottles of beer and two cartoon yeasts during the period from November 7 to 14. The arrested persons were penalized under NDPS Act 89 and the seized articles deposited in Malkhana.

Kohima, November 16 (MExN): The BJP Kohima district will hold an executive meeting on November 19 at 11:00 AM at the Old party office. In this connection, all the district office bearers and mandal office bearers have been requested to attend the said meeting without fail.
