Dimapur, March 30 9MExN): A parents–teachers meeting was held at MGM College on March 27 with active participation from parents, faculty and the administration, reflecting the institution’s focus on strengthening collaboration for holistic student development.
Principal Dr R K Behera, in his welcome address, highlighted the vital role of parents in shaping students’ academic journey and character, and stressed the need for continuous dialogue and cooperation to ensure educational excellence.
Dean of Students Lisathung Ovung, Administrator Fr Giju George and PTA president Thungbeni also addressed the gathering, emphasising discipline, regular attendance and value-based education, while appreciating parental support in the institution’s progress.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by PTA convenor Temjen Longkumer, who expressed gratitude to participants for their cooperation and contributions.
The meeting underscored MGM College’s commitment to building a strong academic community through partnership, trust and shared responsibility.
