Kohima, April 28 (MExN): MGNREGA Convergence Seminar and Training organized by the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India will be held from May 7 to 10, 2014 at the conference hall of the Directorate of RD, Kohima. A press release issued by Metsubo Jamir, convenor and director, Rural Development stated that it is compulsory for all Project Directors, BDOs, POs/APCs of the Department of Rural Development to attend the seminar & training. The release also informed the HoDs of the following departments along with their Convergence Officer in-charge to ensure attendance at the seminar and training: Agriculture, Irrigation & Flood Control, Roads & Bridges, Education, Forest, Land Resources, Horticulture, Co-operation, Sericulture, Soil & Water Conservation, PHED, Food & Civil Supplies, SIRD, Labour, NRLM. Details of the programme will be intimated shortly, it added.
