A formal induction programme of the new Lotha Youth Hoho (LYH) team for the 2026–2029 tenure was held on Monday at Lotha Hoho Ki, Wokha, under the aegis of Lotha Hoho, with participation of outgoing and incoming members and representatives of various frontal organisations.
Mharomo V Murry assumed charge as president and will lead the organisation for the next three years.
Outgoing president Limhathung Yanthan, in his farewell address, thanked stakeholders for their support and acknowledged the challenges faced during his tenure. He urged the new team to remain patient, committed and resilient, while assuring continued support.
Accepting the responsibility, Murry commended the outgoing team and reaffirmed his commitment to work collectively with frontal bodies. He noted that despite limited financial resources, the LYH continues to serve the community and called for unity and cooperation.
The programme was attended by members of Lotha Hoho, Lotha Eloe Hoho, Lotha Students’ Union and Wokha Town Colonies Union. A dedication prayer for both teams was offered by Chumbenthung Murry, Assistant Pastor, Wokha Town Baptist Church.
