Kohima, March 21 (MExN): The Minister of Rural Development, Metsübo Jamir on March 19 inaugurated the newly constructed complex of the Lanpangkong Senso Telongjem Kohima (LSTK) at Para Medical, Kohima.
While congratulating the LSTK on the opening, Jamir stressed on the need for the union to act as a catalyst in bringing about change in the society and also act as a beacon of guidance for those staying in the rural parts of the state, a DIPR report said.
The hard work of the construction committee and said that the completed complex would be a blessing for the future generations, said Jamir, the special guest.
Also speaking at the event, MLA, Amenba Yaden termed the construction of the building as a landmark achievement not just for the people of the Langpangkong Range but the entire community as a whole.
He also lauded the building Committee members for all their hard work and sacrifices and acknowledged all those that have contributed in various capacities towards the project.
Attending as a guest invitee, Advisor, Dr. Neikiesalie Nicky Kire encouraged the Union to be more pro active and take up certain social issues and contribute towards positive changes and developments in the state capital, the report said.
Dr Tali Imsong Secretary, Construction Committee gave a detailed construction report highlighting all those who have administered aid with manpower as well as financially at the event, it said.
The inaugural programme was chaired by Joint Director IPR, Asangla Imsong while President LSTK A. Pangjung Jamir gave the welcome speech. Chuba Ozukum, Member, construction committee pronounced the vote of thanks.
