Grand finale at State Cultural Hall, Kohima on November 3
Kohima, October 27 (MExN): Northeast most prestigious pageant, Miss Northeast 2022 initiated by North East Beauty Pageant Organisation (NEBPO) and presented by Beauty and Aesthetics Society of Nagaland (BASN) is underway.
The top 15 state winners and 1st Runners up from all the eight NE states landed in the land of festivals, Kohima on October 26.
“These young aspirants are now a step closer to bagging the coveted crown of Miss Northeast. The 15 contestants who arrived in Kohima this evening received a warm welcome by BASN at Hotel Vivor. The mounting excitement is visible on the faces of all the Top 15 state winners as they now prepare to represent their home state in the grand finale of Miss Northeast,” the organisers stated in a press release.
The contestants will undergo eight days of grooming sessions before the grand finale on November 3 at State Cultural Hall, Kohima.
During the grooming session, the contestants will be addressed by Theyiesinuo Keditsu (PhD) who is a poet, academic, writer and educator, Super model Ketholeno Kense Vhienuo and Dr Sagar J Abichandani, Celebrity Dentist & a well-known Pageant Smile Expert including Femina Miss India.
A charity event to support Children’s home will be held on October 29 outside Kohima Post Office and visits to various places across the state.
