Kohima, December 29 (MExN): The Mithun Project, veterinary & animal husbandry, NRC on Mithun, NLDB and NABARD is organizing a three day long Mithun festival in Kohima from January 12 to 14. The festival will be marked by exhibition and sale like Mithun, Thotho, Phrie, Yak, Sheep, Long hair goat, pig & piglets, meat of Tak, Mithun etc, handworks and handicrafts, farmers field products. Competition will also take place in the form of farmer’s couple show in traditional dress, farmers traditional sports, western music, gospel choir, cultural dance, farmers interaction with Chinese and Bhutanese, food of different types, Naga folk song, Mithun meat cooking etc.
