Mithun Products Sales Counter and other facilities were inaugurated at ICAR-National Research Centre on Mithun, Medziphema on May 1.
Medziphema, May 6 (MExN): Dr Raghavendra Bhatta, DDG (AS), ICAR inaugurated the Mithun Products Sales Counter and laid the Foundation Stone of the Farmers Hostel at ICAR-National Research Centre on Mithun, Medziphema, Nagaland on May 1.
It was done in the presence of Dr GK Gaur, ADG (AP&B) and Dr Girish Patil, Director, ICAR - NRC on Mithun. DDG (AS) also inaugurated the facility of the Mithun bull paddock.

Following this, an interactive session was followed with the scientists of the Institute. Dr Bhatta showered praise upon the centre for its remarkable progress, extending his heartfelt wishes to the dedicated scientists and staff in their endeavours.
Dr GK Gaur, ADG (AP&B) in his remarks highlighted the strides made by centre in the areas of genetics, health, reproduction and nutrition. He further gave a roadmap for the centre for years ahead. Dignitaries released publications, including the Annual Report 2023, Technology Inventory and an e-book highlighting the Intellectual Property Rights profile of the ICAR - National Research Centre on Mithun.
Earlier, Dr Girish Patil, Director gave a presentation on the Centre's strides in research, infrastructure and financial management.
