Aizawl, April 19 (PTI): Mizoram on Monday reported 45 new COVID-19 cases, taking the state''s tally to 4,904, an official said.
Of the 45 fresh cases, 33 were reported from Aizawl district, 11 from Lawngtlai and one from Kolasib district.
Only five new patients have symptoms of COVID-19, the official said.
Mizoram now has 383 active COVID-19 cases, while 4,509 people have already recovered from the virus, he said.
The COVID-19 death toll in the state is 12.
The state has so far conducted 2,75,600 sample tests for COVID-19, including 607 on Sunday. PTI COR RG RG
