Mokokchung, August 17 (MExN): The Mokokchung District Task Force COVID-19 during a meeting held on August 17 has resolved that there will be a total restriction on inter-district vehicular movement from August 18 to 25.
The following guidelines are to be strictly observed:
• Inter-district movement of vehicles will be permitted only in case of medical emergencies and with due written permission from the District Administration.
• Movement of commercial vehicles carrying essential commodities and goods across Tzutapela Gate/Watiyongpang Gate to continue as per the order dated July 25.
• Interstate Vehicular movement across Tzutapela Gate/Watiyongpang Gate will continue to be banned except those vehicles with due approval from the Home Department, Government of Nagaland and with due written permission from the District Administration and those commercial vehicles carrying essential commodities and goods as mentioned under Point No.2.
• Market will continue to open as per the order dated July 14. However, the market opening timing is relaxed from 7:00am to 5:00pm on market opening days.
• There will be no restrictions on intra-district movements.
“Any person/group acting in violation of this order will be deemed to have committed an offence punishable under section 188 of the Indian Penal Code,” DC Mokokchung Limawabang Jamir stated in an order.
