KUHUBOTO, JANUARY 24 (MExN): MLA & Advisor, Tribal Affairs and Election Department H. Tovihoto Ayemi called upon the youth to have passion and commitment to bring about transformation within the society as youth are not only the leaders of tomorrow but can be active role players of change-makers of the present day society.

He was addressing the valedictory session of the 41st Biennial Conference of Western Sumi Students' Union at Kuhuboto Town on January 23 as special guest. He said such a platform is an ample opportunity for the student community to take away many positive things that can benefit an individual in many ways and therefore urged the students to make best use of the exposure for the good of themselves and for the society.

He said that WSSU is a body that represents the collective voice and aspiration of the student community as well as the society and encouraged the students to embody their ambitions and concerns and nurture them to take a shape for better future.

Pointing out that with cutthroat competition, the world is changing in an astonishing pace, he said it was essential for everyone to be self-enterprising, step out of their comfort zone to seek knowledge beyond classroom, develop and enhance their skills and prepare themselves for ever evolving job market adding that depending solely on government job is not going to help.
