Mon, August 11 (MExN): The Assistant Registrar of Cooperative Societies, Mon, has issued a cancellation notice for non-functional and dormant cooperative societies in the district under Section 92(2), in pursuant to the provisions of Sections 82 and 83 of the Nagaland Cooperative Societies Act, 2017. Vikosielie Nagi, Assistant Registrar, stated that the list of identified societies has been displayed on the office notice board and copies have been dispatched to the respective societies via registered post. Affected societies may file a written appeal for revival of its functioning to this Office within one month from the notification date, Nagi stated
Failure to respond within the specified period will result in recommendation for cancelation to the Registrar of Cooperative Societies, Nagaland. This notification shall come with immediate effect, it added.
