Dimapur, September 30 (MExN): The DAPCU in collaboration with NRHM, RRC, Turning Point Organisation, Shansham Org, YASS Org, Walo Org, CHAI, World Vision India and MSF with support from NSACS and Legislators forum on AIDS, Nagaland will be observing the National Voluntary Blood Donation Day on October 1 at Council Hall, Mon (2:00 pm) under the theme “Donate Blood and Safe a Life.” Angau H. Thou, Deputy Commissioner has consented to grace the event as the chief guest.
DAPCU, Mon District Programme Officer, Longyim Tzudir in a press release besides speech by the Chief Guest, basics on Voluntary Blood Donation, myths and misconception related to blood donation, motivational speech by voluntary blood donors, special song and movie show on voluntary blood donation will be highlighted. The key stakeholders from Government departments under District Administration, Mon, Health care providers, defence personnel, Churches, civil societies, media fraternity, students and teachers and all the well wishers are invited to make the event more effective.
