Mon, August 16 (MExN): The Mon District GB Association on Sunday voiced resentment over the statement issued by the NSCN (IM) Konyak Region on August 12.
In a press release issued by its president and General Secretary, the Mon District GB Association said that the NSCN (IM) Konyak Region’s statement was a “deliberate attempt to tarnish the image” of the Nagaland Gaon Bura Federation (NGBF) President, Shahlem Konyak.
The Association stated its firm support for the clarification issued by the NGBF President on August 14.
It also said that the Association stands for “an early solution to the long standing Naga conundrum taking all the stakeholders on board.”
