Mon: Vaccination for 18-44 age group from May 17

Mon, May 14 (MExN): DC Mon, Thavaseelan K issued a circular on May 13 informing that the COVID-19 vaccination drive for people between 18 -44 years has been scheduled to begin from May 17 in Mon district.

The dates for booking appointments, vaccination centres, available slots, vaccination days and steps for booking an appointment were also provided.

Steps for booking appointment:
As per the DC’s circular, online registration is mandatory and on spot booking is not possible. One can register at https://selfregistration.cowin.gov.in.

Registered citizens will book an appointment/slot through COWIN and Aarogya Seta app and not onsite. 
Those registered before still need to book for the vaccination through the apps, the DC notified.

Once appointment is confirmed, the details will be sent to the registered mobile number through SMS.

Citizens should download and save the confirmation details with reference ID which needs to be produced at the vaccination centre on the scheduled date.

Identity Card used for the registration should be produced at the vaccine site.

The appointment should be booked at least one day prior to the vaccination date, it added.
