More condemn and grieves suspected murder of Nagaland police

Dimapur, September 18 (MExN): The resentment over the alleged murder of Inspector Neiphretuo Metsie-o between Lasumi and Zapami Village under Zuketsa Circle, Pfutsero Sub-Division perpetrated by two people continues to posit stiff condemnations from several organizations.  

Angami Youth Organization: The Angami Youth Organization (AYO) while deeming the crime as “rare of rarest” warned against sheltering the criminals in any form and appealed the investigating agencies to press for nothing lesser than capital punishment. Meanwhile, the condemnation note from President Neinguvotuo Krose and General Secretary Kekhrie Pfukha expressed its profound gratitude to all the public and police personnel of Manipur, Assam, Nagaland and Railway Protection Force who were involved in the prompt identification and subsequent arrest of the perpetrators. The organization has further appealed to every Angami members to participate in the public procession organized by the Angami Public Organization tomorrow.  

Ao Senden: The Ao Senden condemning the alleged murder appealed the law enforcing agencies to take appropriate legal action against the culprit and further expressed condolence to the family and prayed that the Almighty grand solace at this time of grief, a press issued by Vice President Chubawati Longchar and Secretary Imtipokyim noted.  

Central Nagaland Tribes Council: The Central Nagaland Tribes Council condemning the act stated that “Such acts need to be dealt with strict punishment on the perpetrators of the crime.” CNTC media cell release also conveyed its condolences to the family members of Nephretuo Metsie-o and prayed for comfort and strength in these hard and painful times.  

Naga Students’ Union Delhi: The Naga Students’ Union Delhi (NSUD) in its condemnation note stated that “it was unjustifiable given that the deceased is innocent and a victim to false allegations.” The killing was reprehensible and we hope that the criminal/s who committed this bearing are punished to the farthest reach of the Law. It further conveyed condolence to the family members and added “The untimely respite of such a noble man who served as a police inspector is, indeed, a great loss of the community.”  

Naga community Shillong: The Naga community in Shillong while expressing shock over the alleged murder, accorded condolence to the family undergoing the undeserving pain. A condolence note from Naga Elders Forum Shillong President Lhouvirielie Usou and Secretary H Abraham stated, “We pray that God will empower and strengthen the family, wife and children at this hour of deepest sorrow.”  

Naga Women Hoho Dimapur: The Naga Women Hoho Dimapur also extended all moral support to the family and prayed for the departed soul and appealed the authorities to give befitting punishment to the culprit and his accomplice, a condemnation note from Keninguno Kath, Publicity And Information Secretary added.  

Rongmei Council Kohima: Rongmei Council Kohima (RCK) Secretary Achana Kamei and Joint Secretary Kidongam Panmei has appealed the law enforcing agencies to award befitting punishment to the murderers as per the law of the land and condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.  

Rengma Hoho: Rengma Hoho also appealed the authority not to leave any stone unturned to punish the culprit with a severest of action and further extended condolence to the family and prayed that God grant comfort and strength to the family at this hour of dolefulness, a press release from Rengma Hoho President Kenyuseng Tep stated.  

Rongmei Naga People Organisation: Rongmei Naga People Organisation (RNPO) has strongly condemning the incident has demanded benefited punishment should be given per as the law of the land to the accused. The RNPO in a press note has conveyed condolence to the bereaved family members and prays for the departed soul to rest in peace.
