Dimapur, March 11 (MExN): The Kulolau Yeputhomi Kuposhukulu (KYK) has condemned the firing incident by some miscreants on March 6 at the residence of Lok Sabha MP Tokheho Yeputhomi.
“Such act is not acceptable and the said incident is regrettable,” KYK President, Akheto Yeputhomi and Secretary, Otoka Yeputhomi stated in a press release.
Meanwhile, it appealed law enforcing agencies to thoroughly probe this incident and ensure those responsible are held accountable as per the law of the land.
Western Aghunato Areami Union (Dimapur, Niuland and Chümoukedima) has also condemned the firing incident at the residence of Lok Sabha MP, Tokheho Yepthomi, by some miscreants on March 6 at around 11 pm.
“Such dastardly act is not acceptable in the present society, which needs condemnation from all sections of the society,” the union President, Akashe Zhimomi and Secretary, Otoka H Yeptho stated in a press release.
The union has urgeed the law enforcing agencies to investigate the matter and book the culprit as per the law at the earliest.
