Dimapur, August 6 (MExN): Power supply in Chümoukedima and Peren districts will be affected from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM on August 8 and 9 due to scheduled vegetation clearance work.
The Transmission Division of the Power Department, Dimapur, informed that the clearance will be carried out along the composite line near the Nagaland Zoological Park, necessitating the shutdown of the 66kV Chümoukedima and 66kV Ganeshnagar transmission feeders.
Consequently, power supply to consumers under Chümoukedima and Peren districts as well as those catering from Chümoukedima, Sovima, and Ganeshnagar substations will be disrupted during the specified hours, it said.
While regretting the inconvenience, the department has urged the cooperation and understanding of all affected consumers and the general public.
