DIMAPUR, DECEMBER 10 (MExN): The residents of Duncan Bosti and Supply Colony of Dimapur have vehemently condemned the dismal behaviour of certain youths on Motor Cycles who have come from other colony to the vicinity of the 2 (two) Colonies and beaten up some innocent young boys without ant valid reasons and left the colony as unruly gangsters does, leaving behind injured abandoned to fend for oneself. This was informed in a press note issued by the Chairman Duncan Bosti and Secretary Supply Colony Council. According to the press note information about the incident spread like wild fire and violent incident ensued in Duncan Bosti wherein youths of Duncan Bosti as well as Supply Colony sustained injury requiring hospitalization and later some of the youth of the stated colony landed in police lock-up. The press note informed that the incident occurred on the night of November 27, 2011. Thereafter, the whole matter was thoroughly deliberated and in a joint meeting of these colony councils the issue was amicably settled with an aim to preserve the peaceful co-existence.
However, it was also resolved in the meeting to urge the law enforcing agencies to contain such unhealthy behaviour of youths and urged all to arrest the trouble makers who incite violence in the town.
