The Mountain Moving Business

We all know it takes faith to move mountains and I believe our own faith is strengthened, as well as others, each time we share our victories. We overcome by our testimony so I have elected to share with you a brief testimony of mine. (Rev. 12:11)

Before I get to my testimony however, I want to point out that I am not in the mountain-climbing business I am in the mountain-moving business. I don’t believe in climbing over the devil I believe in knocking him down and then kicking him out of my way. Many of us have toiled long and hard to climb over things when the Bible actually tells us to move things out of our way. We do this by using mountain-moving faith. And how do we receive faith to move mountains? Read on. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word. This includes not only the Word being preached but also the testimonies of the Saints of God. A brother or sister who has won a victory should share with the rest of us, who are still fighting the good fight of faith awaiting victory, how they won. Perhaps they can pass on a tip to us that will aid in our triumph.

A tip from Jesus:
Jesus said in Matthew 17:20, “Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.” Nothing is impossible to those of us who are willing to operate in the faith-realm. Jesus continually operated in faith and so should we. He said we could even do greater things.

We all learn from one another.
My husband Roger is a tipple foreman. He knows how to operate just about every piece of big machinery they have on the job where he works. He also knows how to work on that machinery if it breaks down. (Has your faith ever broken down? Would you know how to work on it if it did break down?)
My husband didn’t learn all he knows about his job by just goofing off. He was always watching and putting to use what he learned from others as well as what he learned on his own. As Christians, most of us just sit around on the job and expect God to do all the work for us. We never try to learn anything knew or put to use anything we have already learned. Sometimes we even try to boss God. We don’t realize it but we do. Have you ever said, “God I want you to do this, God I want you to do that? If you do this God I will do that?” Listen folks, we need to quit trying to tell God what to do and just do our part so He can do His. If we need a mountain moved we need to get our faith in place to move that mountain instead of waiting on God to do it for us. We need to quit goofing off. If my husband sat around, goofing off, waiting for his boss to do his work for him or tried to boss his boss, he would have already been fired. Sometimes I think God has fired a few people but they are so lazy they don’t even realize it. Matthew 25:41-46 points out that many lazy people are going to end up in the lake of fire. I think we all tend to be lazy at times. We really need to watch this because we don’t want to end up there.

A Testimony
I am a firm believer in healing through faith in Jesus. Let me tell you some of the reasons why.

Diabetes Touched of the Lord
I have had diabetes since 1977 but it’s as if I have no diabetes because my body hasn’t shown any effects from it. The doctors are somewhat amazed each time I have a checkup and an eye exam. My eye doctor told me, “After all these years there should be some sign of diabetes in your eyes. But there aren’t any.” Praise the Lord for that. I am believing for total healing.

Operation Cancelled
I was told many years agp I would have to have an operation. It was even scheduled. For months I was in such misery but I kept speaking faith in the name of Jesus and rebuking the devil. So far the healing power of God has rested upon me and you guessed it, I haven’t had to have the operation. And don’t believe I ever will. (Update: It has now been 7 years and I am still healed)
What if you needed surgery and I told you there was a surgeon who told me he could do surgery on you and you wouldn’t feel a thing nor have to be put to sleep. You’d say, “okay. Lets do it.” Know what? I found one. He’s name is Jesus.

No Cancer Found
I had a lump removed from my breast many years ago. The doctor didn’t like the look of the lump and kept sending it everywhere to see if they could find cancer. I never will forget what the doctor told me when no cancer could be found.
He said, “Well they say there’s no cancer there, if we want to believe what they say.” Of course I wanted to believe what they said, ever who they was. They gave me a good report. No cancer could be found. Besides, I had already talked to my Heavenly Father and He had already told me, “This is for a testimony.”
And, I’ll never forget this. I put on my mirror in my bedroom. IT AIN’T CANCER DEVIL. Thats not the best English in the world, but those are the words I wrote and those are the words I believed.

Healed of Anxiety Attacks
Many years ago, when I was very young and before I was saved, I suffered from a nervous condition and at times I would have severe anxiety attacks. I remember fighting off those attacks. I kept thinking to myself, “Something I can’t see is attacking me.” Sure enough that was true. I am happy to report after I received Jesus as my Savior the evil spirit departed and so did those evil attacks.

Anxiety Attacks Return: Healed Again!
Many times when we receive our healing or our deliverance from something the devil will try to bring it back later. I had that same anxious devil to come back years later. With the help of Jesus, I ran him off again. We must hold up our shield of faith at ALL times to keep the fiery darts of the wicked one from getting through.

Keep Your Eyes on Jesus
The Lord is true to His Word. Anytime you are fighting a spiritual battle, ONLY rely on what God is saying. Don’t turn to the left or to the right. Keep your eyes on Jesus. He has said to me many times, “Keep your eyes on Me.” Remember what happened to Peter. He looked away and seen the effects of the wind blowing and became frightened. We too will become frightened if we don’t stay focused on the Lord.

How to fix your faith if it breaks down?
Keep your spiritual ears filled with the Word of God
1. Hear faith preached by an Anointed Preacher
2. Read the Word of God Aloud
3. Speak faith scriptures
4. Listen to anointed and faith stirring testimonies
5. Also, listen to uplifting praise music. Praise activates then releases faith.
