MSMEPCI Phek conducts LEAN scheme awareness prog

Kohima, August 3 (MExN): The Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises Promotion Council of India (MSMEPCI), Phek District, successfully conducted its first LEAN Scheme Awareness Program on August 2 at MSMEPCI Hall in Pfutsero Town.

The initiative was designed to empower local entrepreneurs, business owners, and stakeholders by introducing them to the principles and benefits of LEAN manufacturing.

The program's core focus was on practical strategies to reduce lead times, minimize operating costs, enhance product quality, and boost overall productivity.

This marks a significant step in equipping local enterprises with the tools and knowledge necessary for efficiency-driven growth.
The event, chaired by Kudukholu D vadeo, commenced with a welcome address from Thujove Tunyi.

Aienla Longchar, the State Deputy Vice Chairman (SDVC), delivered a short speech and underscored the critical role of the LEAN Scheme in fostering industrial efficiency and growth across the region.

The training session, a key component of the program, was expertly led by Vezito Tetseo, the District Incharge for the LEAN Scheme Awareness Program.

The session saw active participation from approximately 60 enthusiastic individuals, signaling a positive and promising start for LEAN initiatives within the district.

The successful turnout and engagement demonstrate a strong local interest in adopting modern manufacturing approaches.

The MSMEPCI Phek District stated that it will remain committed to supporting and guiding small and medium enterprises towards sustainable and efficient business practices.
