Shilu, in his speech thanked the organizer and also encouraged all the upcoming singers in Nagaland. He conveyed in his speech that “today, the importance of music has not faded. Rather, music occupies a priority place in our secular and religious life. Music today is a vital channel to bring young people together, to enjoy music and to adopt as a profession. Nagas have been bestowed with natural music talent. We must use this properly to praise and worship our creator. Music can also be misused to satisfy our vanity which we must be very careful of. We must glorify God through music for which he will richly bless us. The Nagaland Government, under the leadership of Neiphiu Rio, the Chief Minister, and Nagaland has set up a Music Task force to promote music and to help the youth empowerment through music. The present NPF Govt has dedicated much attention for the welfare of the youth. Please do make use of the opportunities and pursue your goal religiously.
