Dimapur, September 23 (MExN): The Naga Council Dimapur (NCD) has convened the first General Body Meeting for its 2025-2030 tenure on September 27.
The meeting will be held at 11:00 AM in the NCD Office Conference Hall, located on Nyamo Lotha Road, Dimapur.
All 45 Councillors of the NCD, including two representatives from each of the 20 Naga tribes, are expected to attend. The meeting will also see participation from two members each of NCD-affiliated Civil Society Organisations and the Naga Women Hoho Dimapur, and one representative each from the Dimapur Nagaland Students' Union, GB Union Dimapur Sadar, and the Dimapur Urban Colony Chairmen's Federation.
The agenda for the meeting includes the announcement of nominated members for various committees, discussion on the budget proposal, public developmental activities, and resolutions for other crucial issues concerning Dimapur. Councillors will be assigned specific duties and responsibilities for the new tenure, a release stated.
