Dimapur, November 21 (MExN): In the interest of the State as a whole, the Directorate of Women Development had proposed to organize a Contemporary Naga Cuisine Development Programme on November 17 and 18 and advertised the same through the local dailies inviting the willing participation and contribution of concerned and able Naga people to aid in this endeavour.
However, due to lack of response from the public, the Department is compelled to cancel the programme and, instead, take up an alternative programme in collaboration with the Expert Committee on Naga Cuisine.
Any complaints/suggestions/criticism from the public will not be accepted nor entertained henceforth in this matter once the common contemporary Naga cuisine is finalized and approved by the Government. This was stated in a notice issued by Directorate of Women Development, Assistant Director Vilone Sakhrie.
