DIMAPUR, MARCH 24 (MExN): Naga tribe bodies, Naga Political Groups (NPGs) and the Forum for Naga Reconciliation (FNR) convened on March 24 “in a spirit of unity and determination,” to “advance the collective political aspirations of the Naga people.”
A press release from the FNR informed that the meeting resolved that “to facilitate and strengthen the Council of Naga Cooperation and Relationship (CNCR), as signed by the NPGs on 14 January, 2025, the Naga tribe bodies will formally join as official participants effective from the next meeting.”
It was further resolved that the subsequent meeting of the Naga Cultural tribe bodies, the NPGs and the FNR is fixed on Tuesday, April 22.The Naga tribe bodies requested the highest leadership of the Naga Political Groups to attend this “critical gathering.” “Aligned with the CNCR, full cooperation from all parties is essential and deeply valued,” the press release stated while appealing to every Naga to “offer prayers and unwavering support for our shared cause.”
