Nagaland team at National Traditional Wrestling Championship 2023-24.

Naga wrestlers have brought home many medals during National Traditional Wrestling Championship 2023-24 held from December 31 to January 2 at Talkatora Indoor Stadium, New Delhi. It was organized by Traditional Wrestling Indian Association (TWIA). Nagaland also bagged 2nd runner up in both the team event (Belt and Mas wrestling).
Neilhoukholie Kire and Vimhalie Pienyü assisted Nagaland team as coaches with Mhalelhoulie Khruomo as players assistant, Kezhalelie Keretsú as managing director and Khriesazo Liezietsu as team manager.
Meanwhile, Kezhalelie Keretsú has been elected as president of TWIA, Nagaland unit.
Keretsü informed that the state team got an assurance from TWIA that the gold medalists of this edition will represent India at the Asian Indoor & Martial Art Games to be held in May 2024 at New Delhi.
