KOHIMA, APRIL 1 (MExN): NagaEd, a leading education company from Nagaland, was selected as one of only four companies across India to showcase its digital transformation journey at the launch of DX-EDGE, a flagship national initiative supported by the NITI Frontier Tech Hub (NITI-FTH) and led by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). NagaEd is the sole representative from East India at the event, which took place in New Delhi.

The DX-EDGE initiative aims to connect micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) with technology providers and academic institutions, fostering innovation and driving India’s digital readiness. The launch event brought together prominent leaders from government, industry, and academia, including B V R Subrahmanyam, CEO of NITI Aayog; S C L Das, Secretary of the Ministry of MSME; Prof. T G Sitharam, Chairman of AICTE; and Debjani Ghosh, Distinguished Fellow at NITI Aayog.

NagaEd Founder, Kevisato Sanyu, presented during the "Digital Transformation in MSMEs" session, where he highlighted the organization’s efforts in using technology to create accessible, inclusive and sustainable education ecosystems across the Northeast and beyond. Sanyu’s presentation emphasized the organization’s work in developing scalable, culturally responsive digital learning platforms for rural and remote learners.

The DX-EDGE platform is designed to enhance innovation, competitiveness, and digital readiness, particularly among MSMEs, by fostering collaboration between industry, academia, and technology providers. NagaEd’s participation in the initiative underscores the growing importance of digital inclusion, especially in the Northeast region, and reflects the company’s commitment to bridging infrastructure gaps through public-private collaboration.

“This is a proud moment for Nagaland and the Northeast,” said Kevisato Sanyu. “Being the only organization from East India chosen to represent the region at a national level underscores the importance of inclusive innovation. We’re excited to share how digital transformation can empower not only businesses but also communities.”

The event also marked the beginning of a national movement to deepen ties between industry and academia, aiming to enhance India’s digital ecosystem and workforce readiness. By offering real-world exposure for students and co-development opportunities for technology providers, the DX-EDGE initiative is set to have a lasting impact on the country’s digital infrastructure and economy.
