COVID-19 vaccination drive for persons aged 45 years and above got underway at Naga Hospital Authority Kohima on April 1. The Task Force for Music & Arts (TaFMA) Spring Theatre workshop was held at RCEMPA Jotsoma near Kohima on April 1. It was organised in partnership with Culture Monks. Sudipta Dawn, founder and director of Culture Monks, Kolkata was the resource person. The workshop registered over 40 participants. It concluded with special folk drama performance by Ethnic Performing Arts, Dimapur, titled 'Anishe Xamunu,' directed by Ikato Y Kiho.
Nagaland Dy CM Y Patton along with BJP legislators inspected the original plot of land allotted for Nagaland Medical lodge at the outskirts of Shillong and the proposed new site which is 600 meters away. The lodge will cater to the needy patients and attendants. Patton also visited ARC and staff quarters needing repairs and renovation.

The Sungkomen Baptist Church, Mokokchung donated an amount of Rs 60,000 towards Fazl Ali College (FAC) Mokokchung Development Fund. Lotha Baptist Church Diphupar baptised 54 young people (26 boys and 28 girls) on April 1, the highest since inception of the church. The baptism was conducted by Pastor Lotha Baptist Church Diphupar, Limhathung Lotha assisted by Associate Pastors, Wopansao Ovung and Yimtsu Lotha. The 54 baptised members will be officially inducted as church members on Good Friday (April 2). Pastor Limhathung Lotha informed that the newly baptised members will also be participating in the Holy Communion for the first time during Good Friday service at Lotha Baptist Church Diphupar.
