A total of 128 new COVID-19 cases were reported from 9 districts of Nagaland on June 30, taking the cumulative tally to 25,239.
Kohima accounted for a majority of the new cases with 51 cases while Dimapur reported 25 new cases. Mokokchung had 23 while Peren had 12, Phek 5 and 3 each in Wokha and Mon. Zunheboto had 4 new cases while Kiphire had 2.
Meanwhile, 165 recoveries were also reported on Wednesday, taking the recovery tally to 22,699.
As of June 30, the number of active cases in the State was at 1,341 with 68 patients currently admitted in the COVID Hospitals and 1,198 under home isolation.
The death toll in the State increased to 481 with 2 COVID-related deaths in Dimapur reported in the last 24 hours, according to the health department’s daily bulletin.
