Nagaland: 366 new COVID cases, 12 more deaths

DIMAPUR, MAY 13 (MExN): 366 new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Nagaland on May 13. While 12 new deaths due to the virus were reported, a total of 91 new recoveries were also recorded.

The Health Department informed that the new cases include 164 from Dimapur, 128 from Kohima, 13 from Mokokchung, 12 each from Wokha and Zunheboto, 10 from Kiphire, 9 from Mon, 7 from Phek, 5 from Tuensang, and 3 each from Peren and Longleng.

The new recoveries include 66 from Dimapur, 10 from Mon, 8 from Kohima, 6 from Mokokchung and 1 from Zunheboto.

The total caseload of the State is now 17,256. A total of 12,968 patients have recovered from the infection and there are now 3,551 active cases in the State. With 12 new deaths, the fatality count in Nagaland due to COVID-19 has risen to 166.
