A total of 68 new COVID-19 cases were reported in Nagaland on July 4, taking the State’s caseload to 25,519. The new cases were detected from 7 districts with Mokokchung accounting for 22 cases, Kohima 20, Dimapur 18, Kiphire 4, Mon 2 and Longleng and Phek with 1 case each.
Meanwhile, 86 recoveries were also reported on Sunday, taking the recovery tally to 23,077.
Dimapur reported 23 recoveries, Kiphire 4, Kohima 25, Mokokchung 9, Peren 19 and Phek 6.
As of July 4, the number of active cases in the State was at 1,234 with 77 patients currently admitted in the COVID Hospitals and 1,073 under home isolation. No COVID-19 related deaths were reported in the last 24 hours and the death toll in the State remained at 485, according to the health department’s daily bulletin.
