Dimapur, July 3 (MExN): A total of 69 fresh COVID-19 cases were reported in Nagaland on Saturday, taking the cumulative tally of cases to 25, 451. The state also reported one more COVID-19 death in Dimapur.
Out of the new cases, Kohima reported 19, Dimapur-14, Mokokchung-12, Zunheboto-6, while Mon, Phek and Wokha reported 5 cases each, Tuensang-2 and Kiphire-1. The new cases were from 941 samples that were tested in the last 24 hours, returning a daily positivity rate of 7.33 percent. On the other hand, 94 patients recovered from the infection on Saturday, taking the tally of recoveries to 22,991. There are 1,253 active cases in the state as of July 3.
