Nagaland: 80 new COVID cases, 3 deaths

Dimapur, August 31 (MExN): The cumulative COVID-19 case count in Nagaland reached 30,085 on Tuesday with the confirmation of 80 fresh cases from five districts. Out of the new cases, 56 cases were reported from Dimapur, Kohima (11), Mon (6), Mokokchung (4), and Phek (3), the state Integrated Disease Surveillance Programme informed in its daily bulletin. The state’s death toll rose to 606 with three fatalities reported from Dimapur and the number of recoveries increased to 27,762 with 27 patients recovering from the infection in the last 24 hours. Nagaland currently has 815 active cases, out of which 631 are asymptomatic, 128 mild, 12 moderate on oxygen, 22 severe on oxygen, 10 in ICU without ventilator, and 12 in ICU on ventilator, as per the bulletin.
